I cannot find my custom button on my page layout when using Lightning Experience, what do I need to do?

If using Lightning Experience, you will need to go to “Salesforce Mobile & Lightning Experience Actions” section when modifying your page layout and drag the action button onto page layout from there. Then you will be able to find your custom button on the drop down arrow next to the other standard buttons when using Lightning Experience.
